Is there any good ways to get concert tickets cheaper than normal?

im going to a david archuleta or taylor swift or carrie underwood concert for my birthday in april and we want to get a head start and make them cheap….we need tickets in a row which is even harder…also is there any way to find concert locations early than needed? thanks i know its hard~
